RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» Make Garlic Confit

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Place the peeled garlic cloves in an oven-safe dish. Submerge them in olive oil, cover with a lid, and bake for 45-60 minutes until the garlic is soft and golden. Let it cool. Alternatively, you can cook the garlic cloves in a pan over low heat until they are golden.

» Prepare Garlic Butter:**

  1. Remove the stems from a handful of fresh parsley and chop them finely. Set them aside. In a mixing bowl, mash the garlic confit with a fork and mix it with a bit of the infused oil.
  2. Then, add the softened butter, salt, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.

» Assemble Garlic Bread

  1. Place the ciabatta or baguette on a chopping board and slice it in half lengthwise using a bread knife. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on the cut sides of the bread.
  2. Spread Parmesan on top if using, then sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese.

» Air Fry

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the bread in the air fryer basket, cut side up. Air fry for 7 minutes until golden and crispy. Once air-fried, remove it and air fry the other half of the bread.

» Serving

  1. Garnish with chili oil and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Your air fryer garlic bread is ready! Slice and enjoy your delicious homemade garlic bread warm with soups, pasta, or as a snack.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. If you don't want to make garlic confit, simply swap it with minced garlic. It will give a stronger garlic taste.
  2. To make crispy bread, make sure to preheat the air fryer before placing the bread. To make it extra crispy, you can air fry for 1-2 extra minutes.
