RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Blueberry Lassi
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup thick plain yogurt, chilled
- 1/2 cup water or milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon rose water (optional)
» Garnishing (optional):
- Dried rose petals
- Chopped pistachios
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to Make Blueberry Lassi
- Add the blueberries, yogurt, ice cubes (only if you want your lassi super cold), sugar, water or milk, rose water (if using), and cardamom to a blender.
- Put the lid on your blender and blend everything on high until it's smooth and creamy. At this point, you can check the taste and add more sugar if needed.
- Pour your blueberry lass into a serving glass. You can even top it with dried rose petals and chopped pistachios for a fancy touch. Your deliciously refreshing and chilled blueberry lassi is ready. Grab a straw, sip, and enjoy!
RECIPE NOTES
- I have used fresh blueberries in this recipe, but you can also use frozen ones.
- Use chilled yogurt and blueberries for making this lassi, as chilled ingredients yield the best results. Keep your yogurt and blueberries in the fridge until you're ready to blend.
