RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» For making Blueberry Pie Smoothie
- Add blueberries, frozen banana chunks, rolled oats, yogurt, unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or use regular milk with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract), cinnamon and sweetener to to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth. Pour Blueberry Pie Smoothie into glasses. Top with oats and blueberries and enjoy chilled.
RECIPE NOTES
- Blueberry pie smoothie bowl - If you want a super thick blueberry pie smoothie or a smoothie bowl, then simply add about 1 cup of ice cubes while blending.
- Nuts - Adding nuts gives it a rich nutty and chewy texture. You can add a handful of nuts of your choice to the smoothie while blending.
- Use a high-powered blender - Using a high-powered blender is recommended because it blends everything nicely resulting in making the best creamy and silky smooth smoothie.
