RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Greek Frappe
- 2 teaspoons of instant coffee
- 2-4 teaspoons of sugar (adjust to taste)
- 2-3 teaspoons of cold water
- Chilled milk (optional, for a creamier texture)
- Ice cubes
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to Prepare Greek Frappe:
- In a shaker or jar, combine 2 teaspoons of instant coffee, 2-4 teaspoons of sugar, and 2-3 teaspoons of cold water (just enough to cover the coffee and sugar). Add a few ice cubes to the shaker.
- Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously for about 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture becomes frothy and the ice cubes begin to melt. Fill a tall glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Pour the frothy coffee mixture over the ice in the glass. Add chilled milk to fill the glass further, if desired. Insert a straw and give it a gentle stir. Your refreshing Greek Frappe is ready to be served immediately. Enjoy!
RECIPE NOTES
- I used nescafe instant coffee for this recipe, but you can use any instant coffee you like.
