RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» Gulkand Lassi:
- 1.5 cups chilled natural yogurt (I have used greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup chilled milk
- 1.5 tablespoons rose syrup
- 1/8 cup gulkand
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (elaichi powder)
- 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios and cashews
- 1 teaspoon edible dried rose petals
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to make Gulkand Lassi (Rose Lassi):
- Put chilled yogurt, chilled milk, gulkand, rose syrup, and cardamom to a blender.
- Blend for about 2 minutes.
- Pour lassi into glasses.
- Sprinkle with some dried rose petals, chopped cashews, and pistachios.
- Drizzle with some rose syrup.
- Serve immediately or keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
RECIPE NOTES
- You can also honey or sugar as per your taste. I did not add any because rose syrup and gulkand both are sweet.
- This lassi is more like a milkshake consistency, but you can also add some crushed ice if you want it thinner.
- You can store this lassi for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.
