RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Instant Coconut Ladoo //
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 2.5 cups desiccated coconut powder + 5 tablespoons for rolling
- 1.5 cups sweetened condensed milk
» Flavorings //
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder (For cardamom flavoring)
- 10 saffron strands soaked for 15 minutes in 1 tablespoon warm milk (For saffron flavoring)
- 1 tablespoon rose syrup (For rose flavoring)
- 1/2 teaspoon rose water (For rose flavoring)
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» Make Coconut Ladoo Base //
- Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan.
- Put desiccated coconut roast for 5 minutes at low heat.
- Add the condensed milk and mix thoroughly until all the coconut is coated well with condensed milk.
- Add the cardamom powder and mix it thoroughly.
- Sauté until the mixture becomes thick or till it starts to leave sides of the pan.
- Divide the mixture into three portions.
» How to Make Saffron Coconut Ladoo //
- Take one portion and add saffron soaked in warm milk.
- Mix thoroughly and cook for 1 minute.
- Transfer it to a bowl and let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
- Grease your palms, take some mixture, and make a round ball out of it.
- Roll Saffron Coconut Ladoos in some desiccated coconut. (Repeat steps 3-4 to make remaining laddos.)
- Enjoy as an aftermeal dessert.
» How to Make Rose Coconut Ladoo //
- Take one portion and add 1 tablespoon rose syrup and 1/2 teaspoon rose water (optional).
- Mix thoroughly and cook for 1 minute.
- Transfer it to a bowl and let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
- Grease your palms, take some mixture, and make a round ball out of it.
- Roll Rose Coconut Ladoos in some desiccated coconut. (Repeat steps 3-4 to make remaining laddos.)

- Take one portion and transfer it to a bowl. Let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes.
