RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Mango Lassi
- 1 cup Chilled Mango Puree, chopped mango, or mango pulp
- 1 cup thick plain yogurt (I have used Turkish yogurt)
- 1/2 cup chilled whole milk
- 3 Tbsp sugar, or according to taste (You can also add honey or maple syrup,)
- 1 Tsp Ground cardamom
» For Serving //
- Ice cubes for serving (optional)
- 4 Tbsp Chopped Mangoes, for garnish (optional)
- Few saffron strands for garnish (optional)
- Chopped pistachios for garnish (optional)
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to Make Mango Lassi
- Put mango puree, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom into a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
- This lassi is thick. If you want a milkshake consistency, then you can also add some crushed ice to the blender or serve over ice cubes.
- Transfer into serving glasses and top with some mangoes, and chopped pistachios.
- Sprinkle with a few saffron strands and a pinch of ground cardamom to serve.
- Serve immediately or keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
RECIPE NOTES
- You can store this lassi for up to 1 day in the refrigerator.
