RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» For making Mango Mojito
- In a blender or a food processor, puree 1 1/2 cups of mango chunks until smooth.
- Take a highball glass and place 1-2 pieces of diced lime and 1 tablespoon of simple syrup at the bottom. Use a muddler to crush and mix the lime pieces until they break down. Add 5-6 mint leaves on top and gently muddle them with a few twists to release their flavor without over-bruising.
- Next, add 2 tablespoons of chopped mangoes and 3 tablespoons of mango puree to the glass. Add 3-4 ice cubes to the glass and pour in the white rum (or water. Stir the mixture with a bar spoon to chill and combine all the ingredients.
- Add lime wedge into the glass and top it off with chilled club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig. Make 3 more servings and enjoy your refreshing drink!
RECIPE NOTES
- Ripe and fragrant mangoes not only give a fruity aroma but also add the best sweet and juicy flavor to your Mango Mojito recipe.
- When muddling fresh mint leaves, make sure that you apply gentle pressure to release the flavors without crushing the mint leaves too much. This gentle muddling will prevent any bitter flavors from being released.
