RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» Mango Smoothie
- 2 fresh large-sized mangoes, or 3 cups frozen
- 2 medium-sized frozen bananas
- 1 cup milk, dairy or dairy-free
- 1 cup yogurt, dairy or dairy-free
- 1 tablespoon honey/maple syrup, optional
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» Making Mango Smoothie
- Dice or chop mangoes. Then add chopped mangoes to a high-powered blender. You can also use frozen 3 cups of mangoes.
- After that, add frozen bananas to the blender. You can use fresh bananas if using frozen mangoes. Also, add chilled milk and chilled yogurt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. You can add honey/maple syrup to balance the tart flavor and blend everything again.
- Pour mango smoothie into glasses and enjoy chilled.
RECIPE NOTES
- You can also top the smoothie with chopped mangoes and chopped nuts
- Make sure you use a high-powered blender if you?re using frozen mangoes and frozen bananas. This would ensure that everything gets blended nicely.
- Always use chilled ingredients when making a mango smoothie.
- Adding sweetener is completely optional in this recipe. Don?t add any sweetener if your mangoes are sweet. I have added some honey because my mangoes were not that sweet. You can also add maple syrup or any other sweetener of your choice.
