RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Moong Dal Toast
- moong dal(split green gram) boiled - 1 cup
- ginger, grated - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped // 1
- tomato, chopped - 1
- green chili, chopped - 2
- red chili powder - ½ tsp
- cumin powder - ½ tsp
- coriander leaves, chopped - 1 tbsp
- butter - 1 tbsp
- ketchup of your choice
- bread slices - 8
- chaat masala - ½ tsp
- lemon juice - ½ tsp
- salt as per taste
- butter
- haldiram bhujia to sprinkle (optional) (easily available at indian grocery stores)
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

- Add coriander leaves, moong dal, ginger, onion, tomato, green chili, chopped, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander leaves, chaat masala, lemon juice, and salt a large mixing bowl.
- Mix well to combine.
- Heat a pan. Spread butter, and place a bread slice on it. Toast for a 1 minute.
- Apply butter, and ketchup on top. Now take 2 tbsp of mixture and spread it on the bread.
- Apply some butter on top.
- Flip it over, and Press gently to cook till the bread become golden brown and crisp. it would take about 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, and repeat the process with remaining bread slices. Sprinkle some bhujia on top.
- Serve hot before it gets soggy!
