RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» For Papaya Shake
- 2.5 cups papaya
- 2.5 cups chilled milk
- 3 tablespoons rose syrup
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 3 scoops of Vanilla ice cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped almonds & cashews
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- 2 tablespoons tutti frutti
» For Serving
- Vanilla ice cream
- Rose syrup
- Chopped nuts and raisins
- Tutti frutti & glazed cherries
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» How to make Papaya Shake
- Slice the papaya in half, then scoop out the papaya seeds with a spoon.
- Peel and cut into cubes.
- Add papaya chunks, chilled milk, rose syrup, sugar, cardamom, and vanilla ice cream to a blender jar.
- Blend until smooth.
- Add chopped almonds & cashews, tutti frutti, and raisins to the blender. Stir until combined.
- Add a dollop of vanilla ice cream to 3 tall or 6 small glasses.
- Fill the glasses with the prepared papaya shake.
- Drizzle with rose syrup. Then top each glass with chopped nuts, raisins, tutti frutti, and glazed cherry.
- Enjoy immediately.
RECIPE NOTES
- This recipe makes 3 large or 6 small servings.
- You can easily double or triple this papaya shake recipe.
- For this papaya shake, you can use freshly cubed or pre-cubed papaya chunks.
- For this papaya shake, I would recommend using about a 1:1 ratio of milk and papaya.
- If you don't find rose syrup, then you can make your own rose syrup. It's very simple. Or you can replace the rose syrup with rose water or a few drops of rose extract.
