RECIPE INGREDIENTS
» Pineapple Raita:
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (I have used canned pineapple)
- 1 tablespoon cilantro (coriander) leaves
- 1 cup chilled natural yogurt, whisked
- 2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder (kali mirch powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala
- 2 tablespoons pineapple chunks
- 1 tablespoon coriander leaves
- Roasted cumin powder (bhuna jeera powder) for sprinkle
RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
» Make Pineapple Raita:
- Add chopped pineapple chunks, chopped cilantro leaves, chilled yogurt, black salt, cumin powder, chaat masala, sugar, black pepper powder, and chili flakes to a mixing bowl.
- Mix well to combine to combine.
- Transfer chilled pineapple raita into a serving bowl.
- Garnish with chopped pineapple chunks and cilantro leaves.
- Sprinkle with some cumin powder, and serve immediately with hot stuffed paratha or biryani or refrigerate.
