RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS

» How to Make Strawberry Creamsicle

  1. Rinse the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut them into halves. If you are using frozen ones, thaw them for 5-10 minutes before blending. Add the prepared strawberries, sweetened condensed milk, and chilled milk to a blender.
  2. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth. If you like a bit of texture, keep it chunkier. Pour the strawberry mixture into popsicle molds. Cover the molds, and insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold. Freeze the creamsicles for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until they are frozen and firm.
  3. To unmold the creamsicles, run the outside of the molds under warm water for about 10 seconds. After that, gently pull the creamsicles out by the sticks. Serve them immediately for the best texture and flavor. To store, wrap them individually in freezer-safe plastic bags, seal tightly, and freeze.

RECIPE NOTES

  1. They are the main ingredient for this recipe, so make sure that you choose the fresh, organic, and sweeter ones. I like to use hand-picked ones for making strawberry desserts. They just taste the best.
  2. If you don't have a popsicle mold, then you can make them using freezer-safe small plastic or paper cups.
